I have no clue if it's worth it. Doesn't start. My biggest concert with this would be the infamous Northstar head gasket issues. But for $500, it might be something simple. CP?

No start on a Northstar hmmm, could be a ton of things, crank position sensors, fuel pump etc. Sadly I don't know these cars enough to give anything beyond a WAG.

Looks a little rough around the edges. But worst comes to worst its worth more than 500 if you part some of it out then sell the rest for scrap.

For $500 it's a steal. Shit the scrap value on it has to be close to that. You could part that thing out for a decent amount of cash. Or turn it into a bad ass lemons car.

My grandmother had pretty much that exact car (except hers was an '04) for ten years. She just traded it for a 2012 SRX this spring. She never had any issues except for the vent door actuator (I think that was what it was called) sticking. Basically, it got to where all the HVAC output was on the floor no matter what position you selected.

Anyway, the no start issue could be something simple here or something awful. Either way, I'd say 500 bucks is a good deal! It's worth that in parts.
